Introducing The SparkEd Newsletter

Hey there,

I'm thrilled to welcome you to the very first edition of my newsletter - SparkEd! By way of introduction, I'm Bryan Besecker.

Through this newsletter, I'll provide behind-the-scenes research and updates on my startup, PathSpark, as we help high school students discover their career passions.

Through my previous experiences, I noticed most high school graduates felt directionless about their post-graduation career options.

So I started PathSpark - through self-assessments, coaching, and community, we empower students to unlock their potential and explore careers they're passionate about at an affordable price.

It covers how an unexpected online connection became my first client, allowing me to validate my program. While we've evolved a lot since then, I'm so grateful to those first believers who gave PathSpark a chance.

As we continue to make an impact on more students, I wanted to start this newsletter to provide an inside look into starting an education startup, provide updates on how it's going, and discuss why I'm building.

How we funnel high school graduates into college and/or the real world is a massive but under-appreciated problem with negative consequences that are getting worse. I believe its gotten so bad that our future success as a country hinges on changing course, so I want to increase awareness on these issues which I'll be doing here with you.
